“Bismillah (In the name of God)”
Have you ever done something or talked in a way that hurt somebody? However, whenever that action comes to your mind a sense of regret follows. You are not alone. Every heart carries regrets. Every soul knows what it means to fall. But Allah (God) does not define us by our worst moments—He defines us by our return.
When Allah (God) sent Adam (Peace be upon him) to the earth, He did not abandon him. Instead, He promised guidance:
“When guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance—there will be no fear upon them, nor will they grieve.” (2:38)
Mistakes are not the end of the road. They are the doorway back to Allah (God).
Shaytan (Satan) wants you to believe that you are done and you can’t redeem yourself. Allah (God) says, come back.
Ramadan is not about being perfect—it is about turning your heart back to your Lord and work on reconnecting your soul with Allah (God). HIt’s important to remember Allah is Merciful. You return by asking for His forgiveness and you reconnect through your prayers and remembrance.
Ask yourself
- What mistakes do I need to release to Allah (God)?
- What guidance is Allah (God) placing in my life right now?
- What would my heart feel like if I truly believed Allah (God) still wants me?
Prayer
O Allah (God), cover my mistakes with Your mercy and guide me back to You. Ameen
