“Bismillah (In the name of God)
In life, we often find ourselves being tested through hardship, worries, or uncertainty. When these things happen, we are impatient wanting the solution or answer to the situation right away. However, we forget that Allah (God) is in control of everything and if we apply His words in our lives, our existence here will be good. Here’s one of Allah’s (God’s) reminders:
When things are not going well for you, help someone who needs assistance. You may not have money to give but you might be able to help through spending time with a lonely person, giving advice or asking the person, can I help you? Also in some cases, leaving where you may be necessary.
What is the best way to help yourself when things are not going well with you?
1.Believe in Allah (God) pray
2. Do good things (Be helpful)
3. Move or change your location if necessary
4. Be patient
How important is patience?
Patience is a powerful ingredient in success and yet it is not something that can be easily applied. When you’ve been working hard on a project and see no progress. It becomes easy to get discouraged and move on to the next thing. However, Allah (God) remind us more than once that the road to help and success is:
Patience is not weakness; it is a type of strength recommended by Allah (God) if we want to become successful. Patience allows us to rely on Allah (God), to trust His timing, and to remain steadfast in faith.
Ramadan teaches us endurance in fasting, reflection, discipline, and supplication. Every act of patience draws you closer to Allah.
Ask yourself
- Where do I need patience today?
- How can I remind myself that Allah (God) rewards the patient?
- How can I turn waiting into worship?
Prayer
O Allah, make me among the patients and grant me Your reward without limit. Ameen
